I work in a kind of feedback loop between sound and image making. In both my video and sound work I am always experimenting and curious to see what can be made.
I have created many sound and video works as well as live audio visual performances with custom built interfaces such as the “disco-microwave”, “midi vacuum cleaner”, and “prepared ironing board”. I have also been fascinated with the sonification of data from atmospheric phenomena such as rain and temperature changes, to subtle changes in the activity of plants.
In this album I focussed on the building of intense drone-based compositions starting mostly with natural sound source recordings such as the sound of a metal fire pit being hit with various materials, electric guitar, the sounds of bees swarming around a hive, and elemental sine waves.
