Sylvia Hinz - Recorder - Windserie For me, the sound of the recorder reflects very much breath, wind, nature, storm, water, ocean, mountains - strong and untamed aspects of (human) nature. I always aim to display this wonderful aspects, like in my work "windserie". My imagination goes alongside with these sounds, and i have always been searching and working on creating special, new and unique ones. Contemporary improvisation in this context means a different freedom and versatility to me, compared to performing contemporary music: to be able to create something right now, solo or with others, inwardly or for an audience, collectively or designed, ...
