On The Ghost in the Projector Beam, Micaela Trombini constructs a subtle and immersive sonic space where blurred memories, decaying images and suspended emotions seem to emerge from the background like fragments of forgotten films.
The album unfolds slowly through layered drones, delicate harmonic movements and spectral textures, creating a feeling of haunted projection — as if sound itself were carrying traces of invisible narratives.
Rather than following a traditional compositional structure, the work develops like an internal landscape: fluid, fragile and constantly shifting between light and shadow.
The Dream Breathes With Me
While remaining connected to the same introspective universe, The Dream Breathes With Me feels warmer, more organic and almost tactile in its approach.
Breathing textures, resonant tones and slow evolving harmonies create a deeply intimate listening experience where silence and space play an essential role. The album explores the threshold between sleep, memory and bodily sensation, inviting the listener into a suspended and contemplative state.
Together, these two releases reveal complementary aspects of Micaela Trombini’s artistic language — one more spectral and cinematic, the other more embodied and meditative — while maintaining a strong coherence in atmosphere and emotional depth.
