Point Nemo – Erratic

Thomas Wingren and Adam Forkelid are long-time collaborators in the realms of electronic and progressive jazz music. With the duo project Erratic they explore new ways of composing and recording. Less structure and more avant-garde. A change in attitude to a more free and spiritual way of making music. As a result, the debut album Point Nemo contains a sheer variety from minimalist abstractions to intricate, rhythm-driven compositions.

Thomas Wingren has studied Brazilian and Afro-Cuban percussion across Brazil, Cuba, and in New York. As an in-demand percussionist in Sweden, he contributes to various musical projects. His affinity for electronic music extends throughout his career, whether he’s in the DJ booth, in the studio, or performing live. The interplay between acoustic and electronic music has always been his key interest.

Adam Forkelid, one of Sweden’s foremost pianists and keyboard virtuosos, has had a dynamic musical career which spans over two decades, intertwining with various bands and performing with renowned artists including the Norrbotten Big Band, Pedro Martins, Louis Cole & Knower, Maria Schnieder, Svante Söderqvist Trio and the electro-jazz quintet Soundscape Orchestra, where Adam shares the leading and composing role with Thomas.
