In her EP Forming and Storming, Verena Hentschel presents 4 experimental compositions at the interface between new music and electroacoustics. She improvises on the piano herself and combines her voice with computer sounds to create remarkable, avantgarde sound experiments.

The first track Storming forms the striking and impressive beginning of the EP and is followed by the delicate composition Spherical, which consists of minimalist, warm layers of her voice. The 3rd composition, Virtuoso, impresses with fast and profound bass runs as well as bell-like, high- frequency sounds in high complexity, rapid tempo and with a clear focus. The final track, Connected, brings together with great depth and a conciliatory character what has remained unresolved and needs to be brought together.
